He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Porter and Nettie Brooks Porter; his wife Mary Ann Porter; his son Cecil Monroe Porter Jr.; his granddaughter Ashley Reynolds; and his siblings, Lois Ridgeway, Frances Clark, Ethel Banks, Nancy Bryant, Betty Davenport, J. M. Porter and Donnie Porter.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Stamey (Kenneth), Dale Porter (Patricia), Mark Porter (Carol), Stanley Porter (Lois) and Gina Stamey (Randy); his grandchildren, Jeffery Porter (Kayla N.), Justin Porter, Wesley Porter (Erin), Kayla Porter, Kevin Poston (Nicole), Cody Reynolds, Aaron Porter (Lacey) and Schyler Allen; his great grandchildren, Peyton Reynolds, Londyn Reynolds, Asher Reynolds, Carter Towe, Tegan Pack, Elery Pack, Riley Porter, Andi Porter, Jaxon Porter, Mason Poston and Avery Poston; and his sister Margaret Ann Crane.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
