She is survived by: her daughter Marielena Petruska; her stepchildren, Timothy Benton (Treesa) and Charity Mechelle Benton Walker (Adam); her sister-in-law Barbara Benton; her friends, Judy Reutter, Tim Bishop, Peri Bush, Sharon Moon, Geri Stenzel, Carla Wall, Markola Mclaughlin and Charlie Grigg; her favorite house guest Billy Goodman; Danny Geller.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Cherie's love of animals be honored by donations being made to the Pickens County Humane Society 500 Five Forks Road Liberty, SC 29657.
