She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Galloway and Beatrice Ramage Galloway; her husband Tommy Joe Dodgens; and her siblings, Frances, Peace, Jimmy and Harvey Galloway.

She is survived by: her sons, Joey Dodgens (Sarepta) and Greg Dodgens (Tracy); her grandchildren, Savannah Parker (Kent), Taylor Dodgens, McKenzie Dodgens, Gracie Dodgens and Levi Naylor; and her great grandchildren, Cole Watkins, Aria Parker, Paul Parker and Blakely Evans.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church located at 3570 Pelzer Hwy Easley SC 29642.
