She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel King Jeffords, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth Warner Jeffords; her mother-in-law Shirley Johnson; and her nephew Andrew "Andy" Altman. She is survived by: her husband David B. Norton; her children, Melynda Burge (Greg) of Camden, Brad Moon (Kayla) of Pickens, Katie Duda (Ian) of Boone and Angela Welch (Craig) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Brittany (Brent), Matt (Kiersta), Isaiah, Eliza, Payton, Lily, Caden, Mason, Lydia, Lillie, Joanna and Finn; her great grandchildren, Samuel, Saralai and Maverick; her siblings, Samuel K. Jeffords, III (Tish) and Meg Jeffords Fleming; and her friend Rhonda Craigo.
