He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Tandy Purry Banister; his parents, John Eugene Bannister and Lula Irby Bannister; his daughters, LaToya Guidry of Las Vegas, NV and Yasmine Bannister of Atlanta, GA; and his sisters, Dale Brian of Chesnee, SC and Jennie Thompson (Willie) of South Carolina.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary (1011 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605).
