Though Gary Don may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary Don touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cawthon and Helen Rambo Cawthon; and his sisters, Julie Cawthon of Minnesota and Mary Bowman of Oklahoma. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Brian Cawthon and Madison Cawthon; and his siblings, William Cawthon of Arkansas and Priscilla Kruell of Minnesota.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Northwest Chapel (6710 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
