She was predeceased by : her husband James Harold Waldrop; her parents, Bud B. Sloan and Feebia A. Lingerfelt Sloan; and her brothers, James Gilbert Sloan, David Daniel Sloan and Sherman Isaiah Sloan.

She is survived by : her children, James Raymond Waldrop, Arthur George Waldrop, Linda Waldrop Long and Joyce Waldrop Lowery; and her sisters, Lucy Mae Wooten and Wanda Ann Shipman. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
