He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyre Lewis and Pearl Nicholson Roper; and his wife Frances. He is survived by: his children, Russell Roper (Meryl) of Marietta, GA and Anita Roper of Louisville, KY; and his grandchildren, Eli, Lorrie and Evan.
