Macomber of Easley, South Carolina, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 77, on May 7, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Wally" Copeland and Mary (Clements); and her siblings, Mary Copeland, Betty Housefield and Ed Copeland.

She is survived by : her husband Laird; her daughters, Jill Gevirtz (Ivan) and Tia Bacigalupi (Mike); her grandchildren, Rachel Waslicki (David), Samantha Cordero of Anthony, Jacqueline Cordero, Larson Gevirtz, Lillie Gevirtz and Amelia Bacigalupi; and her brother James Copeland.
