She was predeceased by: her husband Billy "Smitty" Smith; and her parents, Otto Dodgens and Vadie C. Dodgens. She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Smith, Lisa Pomeroy and Lynn Smith; her grandson Jeremy C. Thomas; her brothers, E. J., Joel and Hovey Dodgens; her in-laws, Joe Bill and Elizabeth M. Smith; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Johnson and Dora Logan; and her pet LD.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (595 Old Liberty Rd, Easley, SC 29640).
