He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Blanton and Frankie Lee Queen Blanton of Whittier, NC.; his brother Robert Blanton; and his grandson Michael Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Lewis Blanton (Kim), Marcia Nalley (Chris), Keith Blanton (Kerri) and Stanley Blanton (Christy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
