She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Jap" Knecht of Easley; her parents, Woodrow Waldrop and Edna Waldrop; her daughter Pam Ledbetter; and her sister Betty Robertson.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Alexus Mosley; her son-in-law Glen Ledbetter; her grandchildren, Nikki Mosley and Calub Browder; and her nieces and nephews, Dodie Rhea, Teresa Wicks, Steve Rhea, Andy King and Mark King.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made in Elaine's memory to Pendleton Street Baptist Church, 601 S Pendleton St., Easley, SC 29640.
