He was predeceased by: his parents, Jobi Shelton and Geneva Smith Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Williams Shelton; his children, McKenzie Shelton, Karen Williams (Willie) and Sharon Shell (LaDreze); and his siblings, Joseph Shelton (Beverly), Cynthia Douglas and Vickie Oglesby. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
