She is survived by: her husband Oscar Brice Bates Jr.; her children, Jennifer King (Phil), Patrick Bates (Lucy) and Christopher Bates (Angie); her grandchildren, Madison, Joey, Preston (Angie), Christian (Jayde), Sydney (Alex), Cole and Garrett; her great grandchildren, Cashton, Remi, Jaxon, Ryder, Mavrick and Wyatt; her siblings, Shirley McAndrews (Mike) and Fred Grabel (Toni); her sisters-in-law, Esther Fogle (George), Sandra Huntley and Jeannie Bates; her close friends, Audrey Perry, George and Vanessa Giles; and her pet Harry.
