He is survived by : his wife Sharon Anderson Williams; his daughters, LaSandre Bush (Dontaue) of Easley, SC, Taylor Clark (John) of Easley, SC and Brooke Williams of Easley, SC; and his siblings, Lula Cain (Devon) of Autryville, NC, Ruby Williams of Blythewood, SC, Ramona Butler of Columbia, SC, Rachel Lambright (James) of Vera Beach, FL and Oral Robert Willliams (Rhonda) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“One of my most favorite persons of all time. I have enjoyed many conversations and laughs with Ray. He always had a word of encouragement for me, even when he did not feel that great. I taught some of his girls while at East End Elementary and made his acquaintance at that point in time. Enjoyed listening to his take on Clemson football and proudly own one of his Hall of Famer t-shirts. I will really miss your smiling face, Ray! Love and hugs for your family Vickie McKinney”
