He is survived by: his sons, Mike McGuire (Kim) and Mark McGuire (LuAnne); his grandchildren, Hannah Burdette (Grady), James Howard McGuire (MaryBeth) and Caleb McGuire; his great grandchildren, Irvin James McGuire, Bowen Lewis McGuire and Grady Stephen "Gray" Burdette III; and his siblings, Catherine Clayton and Tom McGuire (Marion).

“My name is Casey Davis, and Mr. Mcguire was on my meals on wheels route for almost 4 years. We became instant buddies and would always sit and talk about my family and he would share stories about his wife and boys. We would chat so much I knew to shut off my car on his stop. My children loved going with me on the route with me so they could see him and visit! He always remembered their birthdays, etc. He was such a special man and was absolutely loved by so many. Sending prayers to you all.”
