He was predeceased by: his wife Jenny Bright; his parents, Homer Joseph Bright and Vera Duncan Bright; and his son William Bright. He is survived by: his cousin Crew; his sons, Steve Bright, Jr. (Lara) of Anderson and Mark Bright (Kristy) of Easley; his grandchildren, Eddie Bright (Tina) of Easley, Will Bright of Liberty, Josh Bright (Courtney) of Easley, Anna-Marie Bright of Lyman, Luke Bright (Joye) of Oxford, CT, Savannah Luster (Luke) of Jonesboro, AR, Tiffany Williams of South Korea, Tamika Williams of San Diego, CA, Benjamin Bright and Jacqueline Bright; his great grandchildren, Elise, Elliott, Elizabeth, Landon, Madison, Karsyn, Joe, Kenzie, Piper, Liam, Henry and August; and his brother Stan Bright (Jan) of Easley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Georges Creek Baptist Church (1991 Saluda Dam Rd, Easley, SC 29640). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
