She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Reid and Anne Corniela Underwood Reid; and her siblings, Mildred Eliose Reid Proffitt, Dorthy Ann Reid Johnson, Gertrude Reid Moore and George Washington Leon Reid.
She is survived by: her children, Larry J. Ramey and Wendy Rogers Ayers; her adoptive daughters, Angel L. Garren and Grace E. Garren; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Lenning and Starla Faith Ayers; and her great grandchild LaCora "Jade" Mosley.
