It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Fred Koontz (Easley, South Carolina), who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fredrick Simon and Eva Ruth Frasier Koontz; and his brother Gerald Dwain Koontz. He is survived by : his wife Pattie Koontz; his children, Karolyn Koontz Shocknesse, Melissa Koontz Bentley, Detta Gillespie (William) and Jeffery Stone (Misti); and his brothers, Anthony Dale Koontz (Crickett) and Timothy B. Koontz. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to, Easley First Baptist Church, 300 East First Avenue, Easley SC 29640.
