He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Griffith and Annie Louise Gilreath Griffith; and his siblings, David Griffith, Joyce Bailey and Frances Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Griffith; his children, Stacy Griffith (Maria) of Walhalla, Jimmy Turner of Easley, Mark Turner of Liberty and Rachelle Turner of Liberty; his grandchildren, Anna Griffith, Micah Turner and Addison Turner; his sister Charlotte Taylor of Pendleton; his siblings-in-law, Donna Cranford of Easley and Ballard Smith; his nieces, Kelli Caldwell and Tracy Baldwin; and his close friend Joe Durham.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pendleton Street Baptist Church (601 S Pendleton St, Easley, SC 29640). A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Stan's honor may be made to Pendleton Street Baptist Church, 601 South Pendleton St, Easley, SC 29640.
