He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Miller and Norma Devesse Miller; his wife Carol Ann Miller; his sisters, Laverne Jakela and Jackie Johnston; and his granddaughter Dakota Jones.

He is survived by : his sons, JP Miller (Kim) of Eastover, SC and Bryan Miller (Ashley) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Aaron Miller (Marianna), Samantha Miller (Rob) and Brooke Lowe (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Bentley Miller, Iris, Amity Lowe, Jake, Taylor Miller, Kaydence, Emmarie Rucker, Abe, Gabe and Abbey Numerick.
