He is survived by: his wife Diane Diggs Smith Stephens; his son John Delphie Smith (Robin) of Murrieta, CA; his sister Annie Pearl Fuller; his grandsons, Jeremiah, John, Josiah and Joel Smith; his niece Denita Chapman; and his nephew Glentavious Moss. He is also survived by other loving cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary - Edgefield (250 Coral St, Edgefield, SC 29824). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church (2451 Edgefield Rd, Trenton, SC 29847).
