With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jewel Smith Seawright of Edgefield, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Carol Seawright; her parents, Frank West and Anna West; and her siblings, Anna Mae Holmes, Josephine Rankin, H. Henry Smith, John William Smith and Benjamin Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Wade, Judy Hope (Marion "Bubba"), John Seawright (Charlotte Ann) and Lynn Visbisky; her grandchildren, Anna Sumner (Grayson), Graham Hope, James Seawright (Macey), Grace Gregory (Aaron), John and Caroline Visbisky; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Margaret Ellis Sumner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
