As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sara Potts may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Conley and Eugenia Ruth Bailey Potts; and her sister Jo Marlow. She is survived by: her daughter Hannah Sears Gillard (Bubba) of Edgefield; her granddaughter Sarah Catherine Inabinet Gillard (Edinburgh) of Mount Pleasant; and her sister Jimmie Raper (Miles). She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Donna Roper Canada; and her nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edgefield United Methodist Church (309 Norris St, Edgefield, SC 29824).
