He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Ramsey and Maybelle Lindsey (Homer); and his siblings, Larry (Judy), Bobby, Shirley Roberts and Elaine McKeown (Johnny).

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ramsey; his children, Tina Hilton (Rob) and Chad Ramsey (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Devin Hilton (Shelbey), Logan Hilton (Gracie), Caleb Ramsey and Lucas Ramsey; and his siblings, Billy Ramsey (Patricia), Kenneth Ramsey, Dean Lindsey (Pauline) and Patricia Jennings (Scott).
