She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah The and Joseph Hobby Sr. The; her former husband Jim Harrison; and her siblings, Linda, Jimmy and Larry.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Higgins; her children, Stacy Brown (Tommy), Amy Hamilton Stephens (Michael), Christina Hamilton Lake (Russell), Charles Robert (Robby) and Harrison (Chelsea); her grandchildren, Haley Stephens, Emma Stephens, Kasey Stephens, Harrison Brown, Sarah Grace Brown, Ella Grace Lake, Ansleigh Lake and Hamilton Lake; her siblings, Charles Hobby, Jo Shealy, Sara Spence, Mike Huffman and Robert Huffman; her parents-in-law, Jerry and Alice Higgins; and also Shirley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edisto Beach Baptist Church (414 Jungle Rd, Edisto Island, SC 29438). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
