She is survived by : her children, Billy Carter (Sudie), Hank Carter, Robert Carter, Elton Carter (Nikki), Mitchell Carter (Cindy), Angie Allen, Cindy Bryant (Thomas), Susan Gainey (Mike) and Valerie Lynch (Ronnie); her siblings, Bobby Coleman (Ruby), Betty Hickman and Remona Carraway (Ervin); her grandson William Mitchell Carter, Jr.; and her sons, Steve Carter and Rick Carter. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
