It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Byron Hugh Willis of Effingham, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" Willis and Annie Richardson Willis; and his brother William Bill Willis Jr.. He is survived by : his close friend Darlene Tyler.

The inurnment was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (1001 Stockade Dr, Florence, SC 29506).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elim Bible Church.
