He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurbey Lot Thompson and Beulah Marlow Thompson; and his daughter Wanda Poston. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thompson; his daughters, Michelle Thompson Powell (Joe) and Belinda Whitehead (Ken); his grandchildren, Kerry Neil Powell (Jessica), Danielle Wise (Jared), Erin Tyler (Chase), Kenzie Walker, Jami Foxworth (Charles) and Carly Ward (Elijah); and his siblings, Sam Joe Thompson and Bonnie Stone (Bunk). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
