He was predeceased by : his parents, Christine Turner McGee and Horace Willie "Tink" McGee; his father-in-law Jasper Singletary (Eunice Singletary); his siblings, Willie McGee Jr., Joe Turner, Mary Jo Rowell and Donella Turner; and his great grandchild Waylon James Goll.
He is survived by : his wife Stella Singletary Chavis McGee; his children, Chris Chavis (Angie) of Olanta and Tara Barrineau (Brooks) of Olanta; his grandchildren, Brittany Hamilton, Christina Goll (Brandon), Elizabeth Chavis, Tal Gerald, Jackson Barrineau, Anna Grace Gerald and Taylor Barrineau; his great grandchildren, Carter Wade Goll and Tate Gerald; his brother Jody McGee; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Rowell of Pamplico, Spencer Singletary of Effingham and A. L. Singletary of Marion; his sister Linda Adams (Carol) of Winnabow, NC; his sisters-in-law, Paula Hicks (James Bennie) of Effingham and Annette McGee of Gainsville, FL; and his pet Blue. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with so many friends.
