He is survived by: his wife Catherine Cagle Hollowell; his daughter Christy Hollowell Papeo (Thomas); his grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Papeo, Victoria Papeo, Kara Papeo Byrd (Rivers) and Michael Papeo; his great grandchildren, Mila Byrd and Arli Byrd; his sisters, Belinda Hollowell Casey (Pat), Beverly Landrum (Tim) and Beth Summersett (Ronnie); and his pet Bonnie.
