He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Benjamin Dodd and Pernia Dodd Storen. He is survived by: his wife I. Faye McPhail Dodd; his children, Danny Wayne Dodd and Melisa Dodd Setsma (Todd Phillip); his grandchildren, Dylan Dodd, Bailey Dodd Telliho (Logan), Nicholas P. Setsma and Zachary D. Setsma (Ellie); and his siblings, Leslie M. Dodd (Kay) and Louise Dodd Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel (2308 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (100 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Florence Baptist Temple or the Frank Monroe Scholarship Fund.
