She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Vaughan Lewis and Sally Rhodes Lewis; her son Jerry Robert Nance (Bobby); her granddaughter Heather Nance Goodson; and her brother Robert Lewis.

She is survived by: her husband Ken Hargett; her daughters, Karen Nance Privette (Lee), Misty McDonald and Tammy Morris (Art); her grandchildren, Lauren Wilkes (Brandon), Madison Britt (Brandon), Deyton Privette (Hayleigh), Brittany Hilburn (Benji), Tiffany Manley (Leigh), Joshua Nance, Morgan Peshoff, Noah McDonald, Sabrina McDonald and Macy Steinen (Lewis); and her brothers, Edward Lewis (Mary) and Ray Lewis (Janice). She is also survived by many loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
