He was predeceased by: his parents, Alyea Hiers and Barbara McKenzie Hiers. He is survived by: his daughters, Crystal Hiers Ackerman of Ehrhardt and Tiffany Elaine Hiers of Ehrhardt; his grandchildren, Riley Ackerman and Bailey Ackerman (Turner); and his siblings, John Alyea Hiers of Pineville, Aubrey Hiers Rosier (Kenneth) of Barnwell and Yvonne Hiers Williams of Ehrhardt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
