She was predeceased by: her mother Dianna Lynne Jones Watson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Carlen Whitmire; her daughters, Lauren Elizabeth Cozza (Mattia) and Mallory Erin Whitmire (Tyler Gavin Day); her siblings, Stephannie Dianna Avila Lopez and Christopher Lloyd Watson; her granddaughter Evelyn Dianna Day; her godmother Elizabeth Lynn Looney; and her parents-in-law, Debra Jean Whitmire and Allen Gene Whitmire. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
