We announce the death of Donald R. Stewart Sr. of Elgin, South Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Culbreth Jordan and Walker Winston Stewart; his stepfather James L. Jordan, Sr.; his brother Archie D. Smith, Jr.; his children, Patrice Buckheit and Donald Ray Stewart, Jr.; and his grandson Walker W. Stewart.
He is survived by: his in-laws, G. P. and Virginia Monroe; his wife Cynthia; his daughter Ashley Dawn Crouch (Stephen); his grandchildren, Kaylee Virginia, John Oliver and Rose Marie; his brother Lenny Jordan (Rhonda); his cousins, Eddie (Bobbi) and Walker Stewart (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Zachary Jordan (Sheena), Hank Goff (Cate), Drew Monroe (Kelsey), Denise Thomley (David) and Misty Burroughs; his sister-in-law Myra Monroe; his caregivers, Monique Kelly, Belton Maxwell, Natasha Belton, Darell Maxwell and Josie Cantey; and his close friends, Phyllis, Joe Wojciechowski, Kathleen Lynch, Ginny, Arnie Fazio, Tina Register, Cindy, Jimmy Kelly and Nam.
