He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie Pressley Harmon, Sr. and Evelyn Alewine Harmon; and his brothers, John Pressley "JP", Travis Ray, Albert Linwood and Emerson Berkley Harmon.

He is survived by : his wife Delores Smith Harmon; his children, Phillip Gregory Harmon (Susan) of Lexington, SC and Melissa Harmon Gardner (Tommy) of Columbia; his granddaughter Christie Harmon Melton (Mitch); and his sister Edith Janelle Pedings (Johnny). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Living Springs Lutheran Church.
