He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Elbert and Elizabeth Frier Kelly; and his siblings, Anne Marie Farmer and Elbert Allen Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Branham Kelly; and his children, Joellen Kelly Terry (Mitch) of Columbia, Joel Brantt Kelly (Gladys) of Elgin and Elizabeth Nell Martin of Elgin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideon's International.
