She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin L. "Shorty" Sessions and Inez Branham Sessions. She is survived by: her husband Francis Eugene "Pete" James; her daughters, Melody James of Lexington, Merri James of Columbia and Mandy James Smith (Townsend) of Fort Mill; her grandchildren, David Bradley, Michael Bradley, Townsend Smith and Elliot Smith; and her aunt Jean Branham Dabney.
