She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard "Bub" Jefferson-Howell and Rebecca "Babe" Jefferson-Howell; her siblings, Isaac, Richard Howell, Sr., Fanestine Williams, Martha Wright and Virginia Louise Howell-West; and her son Anthony Haigler.

She is survived by : her children, Ronald Haigler (Denise) of Philadelphia, Phyllis Haigler and Valerie Haigler-Baker; her daughter-in-law Catherine Haigler; her grandchildren, Jamal Haigler, Ja'Quan Kimble, Samone Thompson (Marc), Sharee Haigler-Johnson, Shana Porter and Shyann Baker; her siblings, Nathaniel Howell, Sr. of Santee, Catherine Shuler and Hannah Sheard of Santee; her siblings-in-law, Idelle Howell of Greenville and Thomas West of Orangeburg; and her goddaughter Dathedral Mann. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
