He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newton Jenkins, Jr. and Emily Shirer Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Chris Jenkins; and his siblings, Cindy Gates, Robert Newton Jenkins, III (Maribelle) and Jay Robin Jenkins (Maria). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (390 E Hampton St, Elloree, SC 29047).
