Though Detra may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Calhoun Tant and Evelyn Lena Jarrell Tant; her husband Coley; and her mother-in-law Gertrude Oswald Loadholt. She is survived by: her son Jon Cole Loadholt (Ada Douan) of Walterboro; her grandson Jackson Cole Loadholt; her brothers, Gene Patrick Tant (Peggy) of Nixville, William Collis Tant (Missy) of Estill and David Michael Tant of Nixville; her father-in-law Coleman Blease Loadholt, Sr. of Allendale; and her sister-in-law Leanne L. Getridge (J.) of Brunson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home (300 Mulberry St W, Hampton, SC 29924). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church (235 St Nicholas Church Rd, Fairfax, SC 29827).
