She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gordon and Lucille Singleton Gordon; her family Bishop Benjamin J. Sanders; her husband Reed Rodell Cylear, Jr.; her son Rodell Cylear; and her siblings, Nathaniel, Albert, Herbert, Roosevelt Gordon, Lueneter Johnson, Pauline Brunson and Dorothy Murphy.
She is survived by: her family Ebenezer Holiness Church; her children, Brenda C. Jamison, Bridgette Goodwin (Jerry), Craig Cylear (Babette) and Carl Cylear; her daughter-in-law Jeanice Cylear; her sister Alice Kelly (Joe); her siblings-in-law, Dr. Merdis Johnson, Loretta Busby, Edna Cylear, Margaret Cylear and James Brantley; and her friend Pentecostal Church of Christ. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt Olive Pentecostal Church (40 Singleton Ave, Estill, SC 29918). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North District Middle School (507 Tillman Ave, Varnville, SC 29944). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the New Castle Baptist Church Cemetery.
