He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Lee and Josephine Loadholt Green; his parents-in-law, Corrin and Mary Eleanor Bowers; and his nephew Gray Solana.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon "Shay" Bowers Green; his sons, John (Deana), Corrin (Hanna) and Andrew (Lizzy); his grandchildren, Patrick, William, Corrin, Thomas, Sam, Eliza, Jane Anne and Hayes; and his siblings, Jo Emery (John), Sally Green, Bud Bowers (Sallie), Liz Palles (Mitch) and Graham Solana (Mark). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, spouses, and seven great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Patrick Henry Academy, the Parkinson's Foundation, or Community Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation.
