He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hill and Mary Mudd Hill; and his stepson Steven Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Ethier Hill of Summerville; his stepsons, Jacob Holmes (Erica) of Summerville and Gregory Holmes; and his siblings, Cheryl Washington of Virginia, Irma Washington (Earl) of West Virginia, Floyd Hill (Arlene) of Virginia and Michael Hill (Angela) of West Virginia. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
