He was predeceased by : his parents, Deacon Mercy Young Sr. and Leala Young of Eutawville, SC.; his son Corporal Myron Young; his siblings, Vernon Jerome Young, Mercy Young Jr., Timothy Young, Herphine Young and Lula Bell Young Shaw (Bennie); and his brother-in-law Kim Marbury.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Young; his siblings, Alvin Young (Patricia), Blake Young (Rose), Kent Young (Gladys), Brenda Young Marbury, Sharon Young Edwards (Joseph) and Valerie Young Moore (Douglas); his son Jason Young Adrian Young (Nathalee); his daughter-in-law Crystal Young; and his grandchildren, Sidney Amber Young, Taylor Adrianne Young, Alexandria Sojourner Young, Madison Amber Young, Abigail Truth Young and Amir Malachi Young. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins.
