He was predeceased by : his parents, Elbert D. Christensen and Geneva M. Christensen (Murray); and his sister-in-law Debbie Christensen. He is survived by : his wife Lynn M. Christensen of Eutawville; his children, Mark Christensen and Emily C. Clark (Matthew Thomas Clark) of Summerville; his brothers, Dale Elbert Christensen, Jr. of Summerville and David Francis Christensen (Terri Christensen) of Bonneau; and the mother of his children Lisa Ann Cate of Summerville.

“A great friend to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. Tom fought hard to live and was always upbeat. But the most important thing Tommy did was to turn his life over to Jesus Christ. Tommy had to really lean on him the last few years, but he kept the faith and now he has earned his Wings.. "Lov ya man" was always the way we ended our phone calls.
