He is survived by: his children, Denise Grant of Jersey City, Demetrois Grant of Jersey City and Wardaniel Young, Jr. of Jersey City; his grandchildren, Jasmere Grant, Jahmir Short, Jaylen Short, Saiyaa Grant, Kira Grant and Nasir Grant; his siblings, Doris Young of Eutawville, Carol Young of Dallas, Valeria Young of Charlotte, Ophelia Young of Charlotte, Irvin Young (Laura Mae) of Jersey City and Phillip "Buck" Young; his aunt Betty Fowler of Eutawville; his sisters-in-law, Rosa Wyman (David) of Washington, Sarah Richardson (Donald) of East Orange, Allean Davis, Brenda King (Johnny) of Eutawville and Ophelia Gillens (Harold) of Eutawville; his cousin Charles Young; his close friend Isaac White, Jr.; Nathaniel Grant (Taheera) of Jersey City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
