He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill King and Clara Gilmer Porter King; his siblings, Shirley Shook and William R. King; and his granddaughter Makiah Kaitlyn King.
He is survived by: his wife Linda LaBerta King; his granddaughters, Abby, Alena, Maddie Grace and Eliana Bree King; his sister-in-law Barbara Giles King; and his nephew Darrell King.
