He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hunt Thacker; his children, Vester "Vic" Immanuel Thacker III (Yumi), Steven Christopher Thacker, Reece Ingold and Jan Speaks (Chris); his siblings, James Clayton Thacker (Jan) and Audrey Thacker Fowler (Sam); his grandchildren, Erisa Thacker, Andrew Thacker, Shannah Thacker McQueen (Neto), Chris Thacker (Meagan), Drew Speaks, Ansley Speaks, Samantha Speaks Finnegan (Thomas) and Hannah Speaks; his great grandchild Declan Abel; his nephew Michael D. Wheeler; and his niece Marie Thacker.
